Welcome to the Town of Diana, located on the northeastern border of Lewis County. Appropriately named after the Roman Goddess of hunt the town was established in 1830. The 140.8 square miles that make up the town is home to approximately 2500 residents. Located within these borders are the Hamlet of Harrisville and Lake Bonaparte. The eastern area of the town is located in the historic Adirondack Park. While in the western area, part of the Fort Drum Military Reservation is located.
BIG NEWS!!!! The Town of Diana is proud to announce a multi-year initiative focused on investing in our community’s future through the revitalization of the Town of Diana Recreational Park. This comprehensive effort goes far beyond routine maintenance—it represents a long-term commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and modern recreational spaces that will serve children, families, seniors, and visitors for years to come. By upgrading core facilities, expanding accessible amenities, and strengthening community engagement, the Town is laying the foundation for a healthier, more connected, and vibrant future for all residents.
